LONGTON GROVE PRACTICE TO RELOCATE TO NEW PREMISES AT 168 LOCKING ROAD IN 2013

Please see our Surgery Development Project page regarding our 168 Locking Road Project.

Longton Grove & Locking Village Hall Practice Improves Performance

The Practice is pleased and proud to announce that it has achieved 100% in the 2010/2011 Quality and Outcomes Framework. This result followed release of the results from the National GP Patient Survey which have just been published, in which our Practice scored higher than National and Local average for appointment availability with our Doctors.

The Doctors, Nurse team and all of the staff take great pride in this achievement, which is recognition of the dedication, loyalty and hard work of the whole team in providing the highest levels of care and customer service to our patients.

"BEST PRACTICE 2010"

In September 2010, NHS North Somerset, the NHS body that monitors our performance, awarded the Longton Grove and Locking Village Hall Practice a trophy and a certificate in recognition of the team's hard work and dedication, based on a combination of the practice's performance regarding:-

  • Quality Outcomes Framework
  • National GP Patient Survey (and in particular the results relating to our efficient appointment system)
  • Our commitment to Practice Based Commissioning
  • Our quality and cost effective prescribing
